- What kind of guarantee do you offer?
- Every item is guaranteed to be free from defects in craftsmanship and materials. If any damage to the jewelry is caused by my negligence, I will repair or replace the item at no additional cost to you.
- Will I be able to return an item?
- Yes, you can return an item at any time for any reason. If you would like to return or exchange a purchase, please contact me at orders@worldwisejewelry.com. All returns must be accompanied by a copy of the sales receipt. I recommend insuring your package as I cannot be responsible for lost or misdirected returns. Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable.
Upon my receipt of the returned item, I will refund the entire purchase price, less shipping and handling. If you paid for your order by credit card or PayPal, a credit will be issued and will appear on your statement.
If you see another piece of jewelry that better suits you, you may request an exchange rather than a refund. Any necessary price adjustment will be made at the time of the exchange.
- Is there a separate charge for shipping and handling?
- All orders will be shipped for free via USPS First Class Mail. If you would like to select a different shipping method, additional fees will be charged as shown at checkout.
- Will you repair a damaged piece of jewelry?
- For damage that was not due to my negligence, I will do my best to repair any item for a fee. I will provide you with an estimate after inspecting the damage. Many of the beads I use in the design of my jewelry are handmade by fair-trade artisans. While I choose high quality materials to use in my designs, some beads are ceramic and by nature are somewhat fragile. This should not be an issue with normal wearing of the item. Please note that it might not be possible to repair or replace a bead or other parts due to materials being unavailable. The repair fee and the cost of shipping and handling are your responsibility.
- What if a piece of jewelry doesn't quite fit?
- If a piece of jewelry needs to be resized, please let me know via email at kathy@worldwisejewelry.com. I will do my best to adjust the length, but please be aware that some designs limit my ability to do so.You may want to provide wrist or neck measurements to me at the time of your order so that I can adjust the size prior to shipping. Any shipping costs associated with a resizing done after the order has originally been filled will be your responsibility.

- Are you willing to do custom orders?
- If you do not find "the" piece of jewelry you are looking for, please let me know. I enjoy working with my clients to develop a custom jewelry design that is all about their individual tastes and desires. See samples on my Custom Design page.
- Will you wrap and mail my gift?
- If you are buying a piece of jewelry as a gift, I am happy to send it directly to the recipient. I will beautifully wrap it and include a gift card with a message of your choosing.
- The piece I like was sold. Can you make one like it?
- Each piece is handcrafted and one of a kind. I will do my best to make something similar, but it will not be an exact copy.
- How do I keep my jewelry tarnish-free?
- Silver and gold will tarnish over time. I include a polishing cloth with every jewelry order, and each piece of jewelry is wrapped in tarnish resistant tissue paper. If you store your piece of jewelry in the tissue paper and use the polishing cloth periodically, your jewelry should be ready to wear whenever the mood strikes.
