Putting People First

The fair trade movement supports greater trade equity with marginalized producers – farmers, artisans and other workers – in developing countries. Fair trade includes fair payment for goods as well as better living and working conditions for workers and their communities. Because I use fair trade products in my work, the jewelry you purchase from WorldWise Jewelry is both beautiful in itself and precious for the difference it makes in the world.

The Fair Trade Federation promotes North American fair-trade wholesalers, retailers and producers whose practices support fair wages and employment opportunities for low-income producers worldwide. Establishing supportive relationships with artisans and trade groups around the world helps to bring about improvements in health care, education, food, jobs and housing.

10% of WorldWise Jewelry profits are donated to Women for Women International
